Francis J. Caniglia

February 11, 2017 – It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Lt. Francis J. Caniglia on February 9, 2017 at the Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Pearl” (Holt) Caniglia. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Inez (Lorenzo) Caniglia. After his retirement from the department, Lieutenant Caniglia continued his loved for boating and camping. He is survived by his daighter Sandra Gillissie and grandchildren Robert, Michael and Timothy Gillisie.
