Patrolman Frederick E. Toole – Cranston Police

     Officer Frederick E. Toole is known to have served with the Cranston Police Department in 1925.   No further information is known at this time. 

Patrolman John A. Blomstrom – Cranston Police

     Patrolman John A. Blomstrom is known to have served on the Cranston Police Department from 1929 to 1938, but he could have been appointed earlier than 1929, and remained on the force after 1938.  No further information is known. 

Patrolman Frederick Silva – Cranston Police

 

     Patrolman Frederick Silva was appointed a police constable in 1907.  When Cranston incorporated as a city in June of 1910, and formally established a regular police department by city ordinance, Silva was one of the ten men appointed as permanent police officers serving under Chief Patrick Trainor.  He continued to serve with the department into the late 1930s.   

Sergeant Arthur Wilson – Cranston Police

     Sergeant Arthur C. Wilson is believed to have been appointed to the Cranston Police Department in January of 1921.  He was promoted to sergeant in late December of 1924, or early January of 1925, after the unexpected passing of Sergeant Maher on December 21, 1924.  It is believed he was still on the CPD in 1942.

     Officer James Hogan is known to have served on the Cranston Police Department in the early 1920s.  No further information is known at this time.
